In some cases, certain mobile devices or third-party apps may block Wecasa from sending mobile notifications.

You will find steps below that you can follow to ensure that you receive all notifications.

Please note that after following any of these steps, we recommend restarting your device to ensure that all of the changes have been applied successfully.

I have an iPhone ou I use an iOS system

First step : Log out of the Wecasa app, and log in again.

If that doesn't work, you can check your settings: go on the Wecasa app then Notifications then Authorise notifications. This page will enable you to see whether your banners and badges are correctly set up.

Please also check that you only have one device connected.

Indeed, if the Wecasa app is installed on a few different devices, the notifications will only appear on the device on which you were last connected.

We therefore suggest that you log out on all devices, before logging in on the correct device.

For devices running Android version 7 and newer, check that your battery optimisation is not preventing Wecasa from sending you notifications:

Android version 7+

From the app drawer, tap Settings.
Tap Apps.
Find and tap Wecasa.
Select Battery, then tap Battery Optimisation.

From here, select the Apps not optimised option and change it to All apps.

Find Wecasa in this list and set to Don't optimise.

Android version 9

For devices running Android version 9, make sure the Adaptive Battery feature is not preventing Wecasa from sending you notifications:

From the app drawer, tap Settings.
Select Battery
Choose Adaptative Battery.
Tap Restricted apps and make sure Wecasa is not listed.

I use a third-party app

Some third-party apps can also stop you from receiving notifications.

  • Clean Master

This third-party app manages battery savings and RAM but can stop you from receiving notifications.

Visit the app's Tools tab.
Select the Notifications Cleaner.
Tap the cog icon.

Disable this feature for Wecasa only or for all notifications.

  • Security Master

Visit the app's Notifications Cleaner.
Tap the cog icon.

Ensure that Wecasa is unticked and listed under Apps - Notifications allowed.

Please note that other third-part apps like "CCleaner" or "MaxNettoyeur" can also stop you from receiving notifications.
