At the end of every appointment, the client is free to tip you if they choose, either in cash or through the Wecasa app—regardless of how they tip you, 100% of it is yours to keep! This page explains how in-app tipping works.
Do tips have to be declared?
As a self-employed person, your turnover represents the total sales or services you provide: in principle, this turnover corresponds to the total invoices received over the period concerned. Any tips received through the Wecasa app should be included in the turnover and will therefore also be taxable and subject to social security contributions.
Where can I see the tips I've received?
In the 'payment summary' section of your app, there's a line associated with the tip when you have received one. Your app will also send you a notification in case of a tip. Don't hesitate to thank your customers for this gesture!
Can I refuse a tip?
❌ No, it is not possible to refuse in-app tips.
Do tips appear on the invoices?
👍 Yes, you will find a line on every invoice associated with a tip, as soon as you have received one.
Where can my customer tip?
The customers can tip you by selecting your appointment in their online customer area. Of course, nothing is mandatory and the amount is their choice.
