The Pro Bonus Programme is a bonus offered to domestic cleaners to allow an increase in the hourly rate of each session depending on the job activity of the pro.
In other words, the professional can see their income increase depending on the number of hours done per week.
Duration and eligibility
The programme is currently offered as a test for a limited period: From the 27th of March 2023 to the 28th of May 2023.
Only a pool of professionals is eligible for the programme during this test period. Eligible professionals will be informed individually by Wecasa.
This programme only concerns cleaning services in England for now.
At the end of the test period, the programme may be extended, modified or discontinued.
Wecasa's general terms and conditions remain applicable.
How does it work?
The Pro Bonus Programme is based on the number of cleaning hours done each week.
The week is considered from Monday to Sunday. That means that every Monday, the number of hours eligible for the bonus program is reset to 0.
If the total number of cleaning hours within the week is below 10 hours, no bonus is applied.
If the total number of cleaning hours within the week is between 10 and 19 hours, a bonus of £1 per cleaning hour is applied.
If the total number of cleaning hours is more than 20 hours, a bonus of £2 per hour of cleaning is applied.
The bonus applies to all hours worked in the week.
Here's a quick example:
8 hours done during the week: £0 bonus (i.e. £12/hour for cleaning)
13 hours done during the week: £13 bonus (i.e. £13/hour for cleaning)
25 hours done during the week: £50 bonus (i.e. £14/hour for cleaning)
The bonus is in addition to the rate indicated in the proposal sent to the professional. The price displayed in the proposals does not include the bonus.
Payment of the bonus
The payment of the bonus is made separately from the usual payment.
Every Monday, the potential bonus amount is calculated based on the hours of cleaning carried out the previous week.
This amount is credited to the account of the professional and will be added to the next transfer made.
The professional is informed of the bonus amount at the beginning of the week.
Any professional subject to a limitation or termination procedure of their account as stated in the general terms and conditions of use of Wecasa will be excluded from the bonus programme. For limitation, this exclusion will last during the weeks concerned by the limitation. For termination, this exclusion will be permanent.
