To secure the transaction, we ask your bank for an pre-authorisation when you book an appointment. This doesn't mean that you will be debited immediately, as you will always be debited the day after your appointment.
However, some banks mark these pre-authorisations as debits on bank statements. This is just a formality, in the sense that, if the booking were to be cancelled, the transaction would disappear from your account without you being debited.
If your bank has already debited the transaction, even though it has been cancelled, you will be refunded on your account within 2-3 business days.
